There are many different organisations, working with the NHS to provide valuable information and support for lung cancer patients.
Here are the contact details of some of the organisations, which may be of use to you.

The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation   0800 358 7200.
A free national telephone helpline provides lung cancer information and access to local support services. The website provides detailed on-line lung cancer patient information.
The Lung Cancer Support and Information Groups meet regularly and provide an opportunity for people affected by lung cancer to chat with others in a similar position and learn more about lung cancer issues. Information can be found in the Support Group link.

Provides impartial up-to-date information relating to malignant Mesothelioma for all UK mesothelioma patients and their carers.

Cancer nurses provide information, emotional support and practical advice by letter or telephone. A range of free publications are available.

Macmillan Cancer Support  0808 808 2020
Supports and develops services to provide specialist care for people with cancer at every stage in their illness. Provides Macmillan Nurses, doctors, cancer care and information units and financial help through patient grants.

Marie Curie Cancer Care   0207 599 7777
Runs hospice centres throughout the UK, and a community nursing service to support cancer patients and their carers in their homes.
